Biography

Kris Thielemans is an internationally recognized expert in data processing techniques for PET/CT, with previous experience in Theoretical Physics. Finding innovative and practically achievable ways to improve quantitative and/or diagnostic image quality, advising a world-wide team of scientists to develop, implement and test new algorithms, and to present results to stakeholders. Specialties: image reconstruction, motion estimation and correction, statistical estimation, medical imaging, positron emission tomography.
