Biography

Jamie McClelland obtained his MSCi degree in Computer Science from UCL in 2003 and his PhD degree from UCL in 2008. He worked as a post-doctoral researcher in CMIC from 2008-2015 and is now a lecturer in CMIC. His main research interests are modelling respiratory motion, and image processing to help plan, guide, and assess radiotherapy treatment. The respiratory motion models he is developing are not only useful for radiotherapy, but also for compensating for respiratory motion in a wide range of image acquisitions (CT, MR, PET).
