I obtained Mathematics degree from Belgrade University, Serbia in 1999 and then an MSc and consequently a DPhil in Computational Modelling from Oxford University in 2008. Now I am a Leverhulme Trust Research Fellow at CMIC and the Department of Computer Science, University College London. My research uses mathematical and computational modelling to develop novel biomedical imaging techniques, with primary focus on microstructure imaging using diffusion MRI. The techniques I am developing are tailored for medical applications and can potentially enhance understanding and early detection of neurological conditions, such as multiple sclerosis, psychiatric disorders, Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias.
