Recruitment time for the EPSRC CDT in Medical Imaging

by Katie Konyn
News

It seems like no time at all since our 2015 cohort of students joined us in September, but we are already looking ahead to 2016 with our recruitment plans to find the very best talent to join the EPSRC CDT in Medical Imaging at UCL.

Our next application deadline for those wishing to apply under an Open Studentship (where students are assigned a research project after joining the CDT) is closing on Sunday 29th November. Applications are invited from those with an interest in medical imaging and a relevant qualification in Physical Sciences (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics and Physics). Visit our Application Page for full entry requirements and links to our Application Portal.

If you are interested in putting in application but want to find out more about our CDT why not visit us at the UCL Engineering Postgrad Open Day. This will be held on campus, 2pm-5pm on Wed 2nd December. Supervisors and students will be on hand to answer any questions you might have and we will be running a tour of the department at 3pm. Register your attendance here.

In addition to our Open Studentships we are also accepting applications for a unique Project Studentship in collaboration with the Translational Imaging Group and Mauna Kea Technologies to develop an online method to improve the image quality and resolution of fibre-bundle-based video acquisition medical devices, supervised by Senior Lecturer Dr Tom Vercauteren. Further Details.

Please be aware that due to funding restrictions we can only accept students from outside the EU if they are in possession of a fully funded scholarship or have their own funding. The UCL Graduate and Overseas research scholarship nomination process is now open. (Deadline for GR & OR Scholarship submissions is 6th January 2016).

As ever, please direct any application enquiries to CDTAdmin@ucl.ac.uk.
