George Dwyer wins best Paper and Presentation Award at CRAS 2016

Congratulations to George Dwyer who won second prize for best paper and presentation at the 6th Joint Workshop on New Technologies for Computer/Robot Assisted Surgery (CRAS).

Details of the Paper:

Title: Cooperative Control with Distal Manipulation for Fetoscopic Laser Photocoagulation
Authors: G Dwyer, C Bergeles, F Chadebecq, V Pawar, E. Vander Poorten, S Ourselin, P De Coppi, T Vercauteren, D Stoyanov

The workshop, held in Pisa, featured 28 oral presentations and 30 posters teasers. Topics included microsurgery, endoscopy, training interfaces and tools, novel robotic hardware, sensing and classification, segmentation and algorithms, safety and novel applications. More than 90 people attended the workshop.
