Development of Advanced Imaging Methods in Multiple Sclerosis

Allocated Projects
Allocated in Academic year 2015-16

Assessing the level of neurodegeneration in Multiple Sclerosis could improve the understanding of the disease and help develop potential treatment methods. In order to measure the damage of neurons non-invasively, development of novel advanced imaging methods is needed. Here we focus on diffusion MRI to develop a new generation imaging protocols to image axonal diameter in the clinical setting.
